I was inspired by a post I read by Kelsye at Wise Ink Blog Ultimate Bloggers Guide to Growing Your Readership. Her list of ways to increase traffic got me thinking about how little I actually do to set schedules and really update readers on what to expect from my little slice of the inter-webs. In theory, this feature should help keep me on track and active. My long term goal is to turn this post into a weekly newsletter of sorts outlining where we are and where we are going.
Bloggers are split into groups with a mix of people with different strengths and weaknesses. The mission each group much complete is developing a feature that involves, at minimum, all of the blogs in the group.

The whole project is supposed to aid in bridging the gap between new bloggers and old, generating new creative projects and creating new friendships between folks in the community. I mean, who can’t get behind an event that develops new friendships and forces you to be creative in developing new features? I can’t! Look out world, Team Pink is brainstorming features that could be reaching a blog near you!

|by Stephanie Evanovich: HarperCollins (blog tour).
I signed up for a blog tour via Tasty Book Tours and received a copy of The Sweet Spot for review. I enjoy Stephanie’s books immensely because of her simple story-telling style. All of her books are simple, fun reads and always seem to maintain the trademark warm, gooey impression that I associate with the name Evanovich.
When pro baseball player Chase Walker first meets Amanda at her restaurant, it’s love at first sight. While Amanda can’t help noticing the superstar with the Greek-god-build, he doesn’t have a chance of getting to first—or any other—base with her. A successful entrepreneur who’s built her business from scratch, Amanda doesn’t need a Prince Charming to sweep her off her feet. And a curvy girl who likes to cook and eat isn’t interested in being around the catty, stick-thin herd of females chasing Chase and his teammates.
But Chase isn’t about to strike out. A man who isn’t interested in playing the field, he’s a monogamist who wants an independent woman like Amanda. His hopes rally when she discovers that squeaky-clean Chase has a few sexy and very secret pre-game rituals that turn the smart, headstrong businesswoman on—and into his number one fan.
Then a tabloid discovers the truth and turns their spanking good fun into a late- night punch-line. Is Amanda ready to let loose and swing for the fences? Or will the pressure of Chase’s stardom force them to call it quits?
