Review: Last Day on Mars

Imagine a world where the sun begins to die WAY before it’s supposed to, and humanity is forced to leave Earth before technology has reached the point of interstellar travel. Now imagine humanity living on Mars in Terra-formed domes a mere 50 years after finding refuge among the red scenery. Review: Night Watch

Night Watch is book four of the Kendra Michaels series, although you really do not have to read the first four books to understand the history and plot behind this latest release. Kendra, blind for the first twenty years of her life before a scientific experiment made her see again, consults for the FBI utilizing her senses honed by the years she was blind. In this installment, the doctor who gave her sight again has been kidnapped and Kendra uses her FBI contacts to open an investigation into her benefactor’s disappearance. Review: The Long, Long Life of Trees

The Long, Long Life of Trees was not at all what I expected. I wanted a novel that would cover the historical, cultural and mythological history of trees in a way that would encompass a large variety of trees. This novel is all about artistic ... Continue Reading...

Review: Bats

Bats is about a small town overwhelmed by hyper-intelligent bats with a taste for human flesh. Ex-spy Johnny teams up with local law enforcement to protect the local populace from the bats. Meanwhile, other districts in the area are affected by attacks as well and over time a pattern of attack emerges. Gearing up, Johnny and the local enforcement get ready for the biggest and final attack on their town when a savior in an unexpected form arrives. This is your typical 90s novel complete with stereotypical characters, slightly offensive assumptions and poor dialogue. ... Continue Reading...
