Dan vs Nature is a hilarious novel with plenty of raunchy humour that kept me laughing out loud. It's rare to find a novel that actually catches me off guard and makes me laugh in delight, but Dan vs Nature, as the cover promises, is an "outrageously funny and wickedly raunchy romp in the woods". In terms of novels, Dan vs Nature is probably one of the more "out there" Novels that deviates from my traditional female lead characters, romance and intrigue - but it deviates in a good way. With Malice was one of those books that catches your interest from the first page and takes you for a ride through a story about coming of age, self-identity and the tricky nature of memory. The narrative is written in the voice of Jill, a girl who cannot remember anything from the six weeks before her car accident that killed her best friend. Wishes for Christmas is a set of three Christmas cheer tales written by the prolific author Fern Michaels. In each tale we meet the cast of Fern's various groups: The Godmothers, The Sisterhood and The Vigilantes. In the first story, And The Angels Sing, Maggie reveals that she once knew a school teacher who was assaulted before disappearing. Review: Beastly Bones
In Beastly Bones we return to the city of New England in 1982 with Abigail Rook and R.F. Jackaby where we follow them on yet another adventure of the paranormal nature. When I read book one of this series I had a hunch that the first book would be the foundation of a series that only improve with each installment which, so far, seems to be a fair assumption.
