This book is simply amazing. Ignoring the obviously gorgeous cover, the lovely prose and fantastic world building, this novel will make the top of my 2016 favourite list because the story itself was quite simply awe inspiring. I'll definitely be buying this novel the next time I go to Chapters because not only will it look sexy on my shelves, but this author is worth supporting. We follow the alien queen Kora who struggles with her recent rise to power following the death of her royal parents. Her bloodthirsty brother also has an eye for the throne and begins to ... Review: The Girl from Everywhere
I'm not sure where to begin with this book so I'll just dive right in. The Girl From Everywhere is a novel that isn't quite YA but not really Adult lit either. I'm not entirely sure how successful this novel will be with young readers, but I can see the allure for older young adult readers. Either way, it was the imagery and world building of this book that really ... Continue Reading...
